Thanks to Zaggora I received a pair of hot pants to use for the purposes of this review.
This past week I finished my 2 week Zaggora hot pants challenge in conjunction with my Revolt Now Fitness workouts and diet. If you’ve read my previous posts about my journey with weight loss and Revolt you’ll know I’ve recently been having some trouble taking off much weight and inches. Zaggora offered to send me a pair of their Hot Pants for the purposes of review. I received a pair of size XL flares to try.
For the next two weeks I wore the Zaggora Hot Pants every day while I worked out and some days I wore them all day while I worked around the house. Though the pants did fit nice and snug everywhere I went I sounded like the guy in corduroy pants that was running from a badger in the woods in a commercial a few years back. My husband and kids kept asking, “what’s that noise!?!?” Though it would have been convenient to wear them alone while I worked out but I had to wear at least shorts that covered down to my knees to keep from being so noisy.
Man do these pants make you sweat. Each day I was soaking wet after my workouts. I’d turn them inside out and allow them to dry so I could use the, the next day. This probably seems gross but I wouldn’t wash them every day since you aren’t supposed to dry them in the dryer and not in heat or direct sun so it was going to take a while for them to dry. As I would find out it took almost 24 hours for them to fully dry from a wash.
Because of my body shape I did have some issues with the waist band rolling down on me. To alleviate the problem I used my Golds Gym neoprene workout belt/back support to cinch the waistband in place. This is why I try to find wide waist bands or high waisted workout pants which will pent this kind of issue, but my work around was effective. Actually doing this gave me a first hand look at how much more effective the neoprene in the Zaggora hot pants is compared to what you might find elsewhere. Since I wore both pieces in conjunction while working out I noticed that my body below the waist was much, much hotter (temperature wise) than my core and though my waist and back were moist that was slight compared to how soaked I was from the waist down.
Seeing Is Believing
I was skeptical of how much more I would lose if I wore the hot pants compared to when not wearing them until I weighed in and took my measurements. I lost 2 lbs. over the 2 weeks and 3.5 inches in my belly, butt and thighs overall. Whoa! Considering my losses in weight and dimensions were so minimal or non existent in previous weeks being able to lose this much in a short period of time makes me feel wonderful. I will continue to use the Zaggora hot pants in my workouts everyday and hope they come up with a belly compression neoprene shirt or high waisted pants that will target the area above the waist as well!
